Ellie Hill is a sixth grader here at Irving. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Ellie is twelve years old and went to Sheridan Elementary School. Her older brother is a sophomore named Owen at Southeast and her younger brother, Henry, in 5th grade, going to Sheridan as well. She also has a crazy dog named Blossom.

Ellie plays both violin and volleyball. She has been playing the violin for ten years, and is also concertmaster for YES (Youth Ensemble Strings), a select orchestra for fifth through eighth graders. Ellie is also a member of Destination Imagination or “DI”. Her team is called the Seven Elements, and she has gone to Globals to compete before. She also participated in Sing Around Nebraska. We all have our favorite years and classes, Ellie’s favorite year was fifth grade where her teacher was Karen Schur. The class she most enjoyed this year was Spanish taught by Nate Kapustka.
