Icy roads disrupted students’ arrival to school Monday, leading the Oracle staff to delay interviews for newspaper applicants. If there are snow days this week, NeSA testing will be delayed, pushing Oracle interviews to next week. Applicants can check in front of 103 midweek to see the altered schedule of interviews. Applicants will receive a pass for their interviews on the day they are scheduled. Please contact Mrs. Holt (jholt@lps.org) if your scheduled Oracle interview time will not work for you.

East High’s very own weather psychic, Chuck Morgan, predicts the next two day of school to be canceled! Many students take Morgan’s predictions very seriously almost as if he were thee Dr. Steve Joel himself.

Lincoln East art student Sam Eskridge poses in the hallway during drawing class while sporting his flannel. Tomorrow at the Varsity Boys Basketball game, the theme is to dress in flannel. Our student here is gaming up early before the big game tomorrow against Southeast Knights, wearing his flannel proudly to show his school spirit. The game is at 7:30 tomorrow evening and all planning to attend should dress in their finest flannel to support our two-time winning East Boys Varsity Basketball team.

The Lincoln East Show Choir showcase is tomorrow, Thursday, January 20th. With competition admittance as costly as it is, the showcase is a perfect way for those who are wary of their spending to be able to see the two choirs perform their full show. It is a lovely way to help the music program as well as be entertained. It starts at seven o’clock and is only 2 dollars for students.
