Yes, it’s that time of year again.  East High’s finest men are preparing to strut their stuff at the male fashion show set for mid-December.  The fellas will showcase their good looks in evening and sleep wear, followed by the sharing of any special talents they may have and a grueling Q & A session (with the most random of questions, of course).  Be sure to keep an eye out for further updates on the show.  You won’t want to miss this!

Speech Season Commences

By Jessica Qiu
The Spartan speech team kicked off a promising new year last Friday at the Norfolk Speech Tournament.  Armed with suits, visual aids, scripts, and plenty of charm, these students made their presence known early in the season.  Despite bringing along only a few vanloads of competitors, East placed 2nd to Kearney, whose team brought some forty students.  With near closeouts in two events, the East Speech Team has already begun to turn up the heat on the competition, and it only gets better from here on out.
