Math Team Wins at Doane

The math team is off to a good start. They came home with the championship trophy after the Doane College Math Contest Oct. 1.
The team received first overall, winning the large school division. Six students competed. They were Albert Zhou, John Jasa, Brian Vuu, Michael Nguyen, Charles Chen and Jimmy Lee.
Albert also received first place in an individual competition at Doane. The math team has also received first in the extreme math competition and first in the math bowl competition. The math club sponsor is Jeff DeVries. The club meets in the mornings at 7:15 a.m.
I thought the newspaper was decent but the sports pages were cramped maybe making them 3 pages instead of 2 would help greatly.
